The strongest impression is the combination of reliable sun protection and a truly pleasant feel against the skin. UPF 50+ makes a practical difference under direct sun, while the soft, elastic cotton blend fits smoothly without becoming tight or confined. The low weight makes the blanket easy to handle in a stroller, carrier, or on a blanket at the beach, and flat seams reduce the risk of chafing. Quick drying after moisture or sweat means it can be used again quickly. The overall feel is high quality and child-friendly, which is especially noticeable during longer periods outdoors.

Drape the blanket over the stroller's canopy and front edge so that it provides shade without completely covering it, allowing for ventilation. When using a baby carrier, you can fold it double over the shoulders and let part of it fall over the legs. At the beach, it works as a light cover on the shaded side of the parasol; shake off the sand regularly. Stick to 40°C machine wash, use a gentle cycle, and avoid tumble drying to preserve shape and elasticity. Let it air dry flat for a short drying time. Store rolled up in the stroller basket or diaper bag – it takes up little space and is quick to grab when the sun breaks through.

Choose this if you want a soft, child-friendly UV solution for strollers and the beach with proven high protection. It is suitable for families who prioritize comfort and easy handling over maximum color variety and raw durability in machine washing. Less optimal if you often need darker colors or a completely sand-repellent surface.

Unifit Winter Overall Best in Test 2026 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very technical, functional, and affordable winter overall!

If you are looking for a winter overall that combines high technical quality with functional design – without emptying your savings – the Geggamoja Unifit winter suit is definitely worth considering! The winter overall, designed with a slim fit ideal for children from 2-3 years and up, is one of the suits with the highest water column rating in the test and breathability that matches significantly more expensive models. In practice, this means the overall withstands water and slushy snow very well, while preventing active children from becoming damp and cold from the inside. The overall also has reinforced fabric in exposed areas like the seat and knees, which contributes to a longer lifespan, and double wind flaps at the zipper keep the warmth in and the cold out.

The suit not only has good technical features, but the design itself is also very functional and well thought out. The suit has soft fleece around the entire neckline and along the zipper, making it comfortable to wear – even without a neck or balaclava. The hood is also lined with fleece, making it warm and comfortable even if you don't wear a hat. The hood is well designed with a brim, elastic edges, and an adjustable Velcro strap. It is, of course, also detachable with snap buttons.
The suit's fit can be adjusted in several places; there is an adjustable elastic waistband, elastic cuffs with Velcro straps, and elastic leg cuffs with Velcro straps. This ensures the suit stays in place and provides flexibility for different types of gloves and shoes. Additionally, both the sleeves and leg cuffs feature an internal "snow lock"/band that prevents snow from sneaking into the suit. Inside the sleeves, there is a soft, snug ribbed cuff with a thumb hole, allowing space for gloves between the ribbing and the outer sleeve, or above if you have gloves with a long cuff. A similar solution is found at the bottom of the legs, with an elastic and roomy gaiter with a silicone foot strap on the inside, and an external adjustable cuff that prevents the pant leg from sliding down or being stepped on. Together, this provides double protection against snow intrusion. If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, both the inner gaiters and outer leg cuffs can be opened on the side and expanded to accommodate thicker shoes.
  • Very good waterproofness (15,000 mm water column)
  • High breathability (7,000 g/m²/24h) - well suited for active children
  • Very good price-quality ratio
  • Functional design with many adjustment options
  • Snow locks on sleeves and legs that effectively prevent snow from entering
  • Reinforced areas on knees and back - provides increased durability
  • Zippered pockets on the sides

The Geggamoja Unifit winter overall is simply a very good purchase. Here you get quality, good technical features, and a very functional design that ensures the child stays dry and warm, at a very good price. The Geggamoja Unifit winter overall has therefore been voted Best in Test - Best winter suit for 2025 and 2026!

Best Overall Waterproof Suit 2026 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High-quality and well-designed shell overall!

The Geggamoja shell overall is a quality shell suit suitable for both small and large. The overall combines very good technical features with a well-thought-out design, at an affordable price.

With a water column of 15,000 mm and taped seams, the overall provides very good protection against wet surfaces, rain, and slush – an important feature when used in the changing weather of the autumn and spring seasons. Additionally, the breathability of 7,000 g/m²/24h ensures that the child does not become damp and sweaty from the inside, even during high activity or if the sun suddenly comes out.

We find the quality impeccable. The overall has been used by a two-year-old at daycare both during early summer and throughout the long, wet autumn we had in 2025. In other words, it has been through many rainy days, crawled in the sandbox and muddy water, slipped and played – and not least a dozen times through the washing machine. The overall shows no signs of wear and can easily be passed on to the next person.

The design is functional and well thought out. The overall suit has double cuffs on both the sleeves and legs, which help keep water, mud, and sand out. The inner elastic cuff with thumb hole is also soft and comfortable and protects the palm from chafing. The waist can be easily adjusted for a better fit, and the zipper is protected by double wind flaps that prevent water and wind from penetrating. The hood is detachable and fastened with snap buttons, and the neckline is lined with soft fleece that extends around the entire opening – providing extra comfort and protecting against chafing. The suit has several visible reflectors, which contribute to increased safety in the dark.

Overall, Geggamoja Skaloverall offers great value for money. The combination of well-designed design, high quality, and excellent technical features has made this suit voted Best in Test - Best shell overall for both 2025 and 2026.

Insulated Rubber Boots Recommended 2026

Forget heavy and damp rubber boots – these lined winter boots from Geggamoja are impressively light and comfortable! The boots are made of EVA, a type of plastic that, thanks to millions of tiny air cells, both insulates well and makes the boots light on the feet.

In addition to the insulating EVA material, the boots are lined with wool, making them significantly warmer than traditional rubber boots. The lining feels fluffy and soft, and because it is made of wool, it prevents some of the damp feeling that you can experience with traditional rubber boots.

The boots have a rugged sole that provides good grip, and we think these have worked excellently both on wet winter days and during the transition months with rain, sleet, and melting snow. A bonus is that the shoes are very easy to put on, giving children a sense of independence and a little less help needed from us adults. The boots have therefore quickly become a favorite with us.

Geggamoja lined winter boots offer a warm, waterproof, and above all lightweight alternative to regular winter shoes. The design is practical and comfortable, and the boots provide great value for money. Geggamoja lined winter boots are therefore recommended by Foreldresiden in 2026.

UV Suit Recommended 2026

The UV suit from Geggamoja is one of the few suits in our test with both long sleeves and legs, providing very good sun protection. We find that full-coverage suits are especially practical for two groups: active, older children (because sunscreen easily wears off during play, while this group stays warm even with wet swimwear due to their high activity level), and babies who should not have direct sun on their sensitive skin at all. With sizes from 50-92, the Geggamoja one-piece suit is ideal for the latter.

The suit is made of a lightweight and breathable mesh-like material that is more comfortable for children who do not swim to wear, compared to the denser "swimsuit fabric" that many UV suits have, and the suit is therefore excellent for small babies who need full sun protection whether in the park, at the beach, or in the garden. It naturally also works well for swimming: the fabric dries quickly and the suit is easy to put on and take off even when wet. However, we find that sand sticks a little more easily and is a bit difficult to brush off when the suit is wet. The suit also feels a bit less elastic than the UV models in swimsuit fabric, but that is also one of the reasons why it is easier to put on even when wet. The zipper is thin, which is an advantage for children lying on their stomachs. And with a chin guard at the top and comfortable seams, this is a comfortable UV suit.

Another important detail that makes the Geggamoja UV suit extra baby-friendly is that the zipper in the front goes all the way down to the calf. This means you can change diapers without removing the sleeves, making this model the most practical for little ones.

Due to its full-coverage design, this suit is also very suitable for southern vacations with strong sun and high heat, for both babies and older children. It provides good protection against harmful sun rays and can feel cooling in the heat. On cool Norwegian summer days, a wet, full-coverage suit can feel a bit cold.

The design is simple but stylish, available in turquoise, pink, or dark blue. The price is very good for a full-coverage model, and the Geggamoja UV suit is the most affordable among the full-coverage models in our test. Finally, we also want to praise the sun hat that can be purchased separately; it provides good coverage but is also airy and comfortable in warm weather, while fitting well without feeling too tight.

Geggamoja delivers a very baby-friendly one-piece with maximum coverage, an extra-long zipper in the front all the way down to the calf (perfect for diaper changes), and breathable mesh that dries quickly and feels comfortable in the heat. This makes it ideal for summer vacations, hot days, and for little ones who should avoid direct sun. With the low price and excellent usability, this is a clear favorite with us - Recommended 2026.

Winter gloves Recommended 2026

High quality and technical features at a good price – warm mittens especially good for the smallest children!

The winter mittens from Geggamoja stand out from other mittens in several ways. First of all, they are mittens with very good technical properties; that is, a water column of 15,000 mm and breathability of 7,000 g/m2/24h, which is significantly better than most! In practice, this means that the mittens have very good resistance to water penetration, while also breathing well and not becoming sticky – not even during high activity. Most mittens with technical features at this level usually cost much more, so here you really get a lot for your money. The mittens are lined with soft fleece on the inside and are well insulated, so they are suitable for cold days, but also milder days with lower activity levels (usually the smallest daycare children who like to sit very quietly in the sandbox).

The other thing that sets these mittens apart from other winter mittens is the design itself. The cuff is short, making them suitable to wear inside the winter suit, a solution we think works well for the very youngest, compared to mittens with a long cuff that can be pulled over the suit. For older children (around 2 years and up), however, we prefer a long cuff that can be pulled over the suit.

The gloves have elastic around the wrist that ensures a good fit, and a zipper on the side that makes the opening slightly larger when putting the gloves on and taking them off. These gloves do not have an adjustable Velcro strap at the wrist, which is often seen on gloves for older children. This makes the gloves feel less stiff and bulky, making them easier to pull through the sleeve openings from the inside of the winter suit. Overall, we therefore find this design particularly well suited for the very youngest children, but if you want the same good quality for slightly older children, these gloves are also available in larger sizes with a slightly longer cuff and an adjustable Velcro strap.

Geggamoja Winter Mittens are warm mittens with a low cuff, a great solution for the smallest children. With a high water column and breathability, you can be sure that your child stays dry and warm, and the mittens offer very good quality at a reasonable price. Because of this, Geggamoja Winter Mittens have been selected as Recommended by Föräldrasidan 2026.
