Our responsibility – from fiber to future
At Geggamoja, we want to create clothes that children can play, explore, and grow in – without compromising on care for people, animals, and the planet. Sustainability is not a buzzword for us, but a natural part of every decision we make. From how we design our first sketches to how we deliver the garments to your home, we choose consciously to reduce our impact and extend the life of each garment.
Design with care
We believe in clothes that last a long time. Our baby garments grow with the child thanks to smart cuff and button solutions, and overalls can be extended as the legs grow longer. Colors, patterns, and fit are timeless to be loved, used, and passed down – again and again.
Materials we can stand behind
At least 80% of our materials already come from sustainable sources – the goal is to reach 100%. We choose fabrics that are soft on the child's skin and produced with respect for the earth's resources.
We comply with the EU chemical legislation REACH and regularly test our products to exclude harmful substances such as phthalates, heavy metals, and dangerous dyes. Additionally, we work according to the POP regulation, which means we avoid persistent chemicals like PFAS and certain flame retardants. With us, you should never have to worry about environmental toxins near your children.
Production with a focus on people
We collaborate with about ten carefully selected suppliers in six countries – many of them are family businesses, just like us. The choice is never about the country, but about expertise, quality, and transparency. All our partners follow Geggamojas Code of Conduct, which is based on international guidelines for human rights, working conditions, and social responsibility.
Several are also certified according to SA8000, connected to amfori BSCI or operate according to ISO 26000. We visit the factories regularly and maintain close dialogues to ensure that our values are truly upheld – not just on paper.
To reduce waste, we utilize leftover fabric and create new products from scrap material. Many of our factories also use renewable energy, such as solar panels, to reduce emissions from production.
Shipping, packaging & care
We primarily choose sea and land transport to keep emissions down and use transport bags made of recycled plastic. Our third-party warehouse consolidates deliveries to avoid unnecessary transports.
Together we make a difference
We want to make it easy for you as a parent to make conscious choices. On our website, you will find guides about sizes, about function and packing lists for the maternity ward – all to reduce wrong purchase and returns - something that is good for both the environment and for you as a customer.
Once the garment has left us, you can contribute by choosing eco-friendly shipping, washing gently, repairing when needed, and letting the garment live on through siblings, friends, or second hand. Sustainability is a team effort – together we make a difference for the children and the future.

Our vision for 2030
We want to become Sweden's most environmentally conscious children's clothing company. Through conscious material choices, long-term collaborations, and constantly smarter methods, we want our clothes to make big footprints in children's everyday lives – but as small as possible on the environment.
Thank you for shopping thoughtfully and helping us create a better future – one sweater, one overall, and one laugh at a time.
