9 advantages of our winter overalls
1. Extended size
The season for winter overalls can be very long. During this period, the child will of course continue to grow - and that's when extended size is a smart feature! Extended size means that the shell of the overalls is full length, but that the lining has a pleat that can be opened and folded down when the overalls start to get too short.
2. Adjustable leg cuffs
On the inside of the leg of our overalls there is a snow gaiter and an adjustable leg opening in the form of a cord and stopper. This function is perfect for tightening the leg opening, in order to regulate the length of the leg and prevent unnecessary wear. The leg end is also reinforced with durable reinforcement material. This is in order to minimize the risk of unnecessary wear and unwanted leakage. Our winter overall Unifit has adjustable leg ends, while Unitoddler unfortunately does not have this smart function.
3. Foot loops
Foot loops are practical to prevent the overalls from sliding up and creating a gap between the overalls and the shoes. Geggamoja's foot loops are made of silicone and can be purchased separately if you need them. Both Unifit and Unitoddler are designed with foot loops. You can order extra foot loops here!
4. Adjustable waist
All children are unique and for the best fit, our overalls have an adjustment at the waist. This feature is also functional when you need to adjust the overalls to how much clothing the child has under the overalls. By tightening the waist, the garment gets a tighter fit and thus reduces the risk of it hanging. Tighten the adjuster at the waist when the child is dressed in thicker clothes for winter play on colder days. You can also tighten the waist to increase flexibility or tighten it to provide space and greater freedom of movement inside the overalls for free play. Both our winter overalls Unifit and Unitoddler have adjustable waists. Unifit through a drawstring - and Unitoddler with an adjustable strap.
5. Removable hood
Adaptation and variety are the main reasons. You can use the hood when it is cold or rainy - but at the same time remove it when it is warm or when you prefer a different look. Removable hoods also make it easier to wash the garment. By removing the hood, you can avoid it being exposed to unnecessary wear and tear and thus preserve both shape and color better. Furthermore, the removable function is well suited to children's clothing for safety reasons. For example, if the hood tends to get caught on something, it can be easily removed to avoid the risk of accidents. During certain activities, such as sports or play, it can also be convenient to remove the hood to avoid unnecessary discomfort or blocking of the field of vision.
6. Snow lock
A snow gaiter at the leg or cuff keeps the cold snow out. Our Unifit winter overall has adjustable snow gaiters with zippers, but can also be adjusted with Velcro. This is a good feature for easily getting the snow gaiter over, for example, a pair of ski boots. Unifit also has a snow gaiter at the cuff. We recommend that you put the mitten over the snow gaiter to keep the snow out. This creates a kind of wrap-around function that holds really tight.
7. Reflectors & spacious pockets
Our winter overalls have a large number of reflectors. These are placed 360 degrees - so your child is visible in the winter darkness from all directions. In addition to being visible in the dark, it is important that the child keeps track of their garments - regardless of darkness or not. For example, children tend to take off their mittens during free play. In this case, we recommend a pair of mitten holders so that the child's gloves do not suddenly get feet. Sometimes, however, the child wants to be able to collect small things - and then pockets are needed. Our overalls therefore have spacious pockets - so that mittens, ski passes or rocks can fit.
8. Reinforcement on knees and rear
A sustainable and play-friendly design is important to us. In these terms, we do not only mean sustainable production, but also sustainable clothing in terms of wear. Our overalls have extra reinforcement on the knees and back - all so that the outerwear allows and withstands the child's free play.
9. Bionic Finish Eco® Coating
All production and manufacturing of clothing affects our environment. As responsible clothing manufacturers and you as consumers, together we can make sustainable and smart choices to maintain a lifestyle with as little environmental impact as possible. That is why we use, among other things, an environmentally friendly impregnation called Bionic finish Eco to maintain a good water-repellent effect on our winter overalls.
